For those of us who build websites that rely on ratings (ie: like it/hate it, or star rating systems) rather than comments, these plugins will really help you out. I’ve personally used the GD Star Rating plugin and find it to be great. Make sure you check all of these rating plugins for wordpress out and pick the one that fits your needs best.
